On the Road Again

Getting out into the market to meet existing and potential new customers is a must for us at Glanbia Ireland. It’s a great opportunity to interact face-to-face with our partners and to discover what’s new and exciting in the food and ingredients industry.

Getting out into the market to meet existing and potential new customers is a must for us at Glanbia Ireland. It’s a great opportunity to interact face-to-face with our partners and to discover what’s new and exciting in the food and ingredients industry.
With this in mind, we have a programme of trade shows lined up for 2019, which kicked off with our visit to the Winter Fancy Food Show in San Francisco where we were among 1,400+ specialty food exhibitors from around the globe. The show is a fantastic place to immerse ourselves in the next big food trends, which, aligning with our offering, include sustainable dairy , health benefits and clear labelling.
Next up, the Glanbia Ireland MEA (Middle East Africa) team along with their colleagues from our Consumer division will again exhibit at Gulfood, the world’s largest annual food, beverage and hospitality exhibition, which takes place at the Dubai World Trade Center from February 17-21. Participating as part of the Bord Bia (Irish Food Board) pavilion, we’ll showcase our Avonmore brand UHT milk and cream offerings as well as our retail and deli/food service cheddar ranges – continuing with our ambition to grow Ireland’s #1 brand across the MEA region.
Not long after Dubai, we’ll be packing our bags to head Stateside again to Natural Products Expo West (NPEW) in California. This 3-day event is the leading trade show in the natural, organic and healthy products industry, attracting over 80,000 industry professionals and 3,100 exhibits to the Anaheim Conference Centre.
Last year, we showcased our Truly Grass Fed ™ ingredients brand for the first time, and we’re thrilled to be returning from March 7 – 9 with our extended portfolio, which now includes our retail range of Truly Grass Fed Cheeses as well as our line of grass fed dairy ingredients. Being surrounded by so many established and up-and-coming natural brands is truly inspiring and the experience is made even more valuable by engaging with like-minded businesses. NPEW initiated some exciting new B2B partnerships for Truly Grass Fed in 2018 and we’re looking forward to the opportunity to speak with many more fresh and ambitious companies who, like us, are all about honest-to-goodness products.
